Bought the chair in a second hand shop for €20. It was originally mahogany with a red seat cover. I sanded the chair and repainted it. I bought material and recovered the seat cushion.
- Why did you repair the object?
I was looking for a chair for my hall but thought new chairs were expensive. I decided to look in a charity shop for a chair that I could modernise as a more affordable option.

Second hand shops and charity shops stock many items that can be upcycled at an affordable price for home decoration.
