This pot was purchased to grow this particular plant. It’s a small wildflower seed plant for children. My daughter dropped it and was very upset, so we fixed it and it looks great!
- Why do you think it is important to repair things?
It would have been upsetting to throw this away. Fixing this pot for my child showed her that all is not lost when something breaks. She has also learned that things can be fixed if broken. They may look a little different but the essence is still there.
- What would be important to you to be included in a Repair Declaration for Ireland?
Natural materials such as terracota are often easier to fix – promotion of natural materials would enhance repairability in many cases.
