First, I evicted the spider who made their home in the lampshade. Then I got to work with some trusty sellotape. I closed one eye and stuck out my tongue for increased accuracy when taping the delicate paper lampshade back together.
- Why did you repair the object?
I repaired it because I'm very clumsy and I didn't want the family tut-tutting at me for causing yet another breakage in the house. I think I got away with it.... For now!

I would like to see positive language around the value in repairing items.
The use of empowering language can be a great driver to compel people to get fixing the broken items in their house.
