- Who repaired it?
- How long did the repair take?
- How much did it cost?
Nothing because I had two different printers with all of their parts
- How was the object repaired?
A pin was missing that connected an ink cartridge to the printer, so I took a tiny pin from a printer that I found outside, and replaced it in the other printer that I wanted to get back up and running.
- Why did you repair the object?
I bought the printer used for 20 euros on Adverts and they listed the problem on there. I thought it would be a fun challenge to try to fix it myself, and I already had spare parts from finding another printer outside. I didn't know what was wrong at first (just that the ink wasn't flowing) but after tinkering around I discovered the problem.
- What would be important to you to be included in a Repair Declaration for Ireland?
Repairing, fixing, and maintaining should be taught in schools. This would give more people a chance to take ownership over the things they purchase or find.
