They Gathered Rushes: Xmas Wreath Workshop

Join studio repair acts at Kilbeggan Library for the closing event of 2023, a festive workshop and sharing of new work.

Connecting local Xmas traditions, transform old T-shirts, wine corks, paper and other discarded materials into a beautiful Xmas wreath. Post the workshop, we’ll be screening a new video piece about the candle-making and it’s association with the Twelfth Night (also known as Epiphany Eve), please register separately for this event >>>here.

This workshops is free, all materials are provided but space is limited to 25 person.

Wheelchair access is available for the library lift. Refreshments (teas, coffee, juice and snacks will also be provided.

Schedule:

13-17.00: Wreath Making: Using discarded textile materials, afternoon of wreath making and sharing of memories associated to the season.
